Professional Bio

I am a first-year MBA student at University of Virginia Darden School of Business, focusing in Strategy. I’m passionate about transforming complex business challenges into strategic opportunities. I believe this need will get much more urgent in today’s era, where AI is poised to disrupt the way we do business and beyond.

With 8 years of diverse experience, I have held multiple roles as a business analyst, data analyst, product manager, and CEO Office across various industries, including fintech, AI, data, and Web3/Crypto. My expertise spans data-driven decision making, business planning, strategic finance and organizational transformation, allowing me to deliver values in today’s fast-paced, technology-driven environments.

I am seeking opportunities in consulting and strategy roles that focus at the intersection of business, technology, and financial services. My goal is to leverage my expertise to help organizations navigate complex challenges, drive innovation, and create sustainable value.

Education Bio

Prior to Darden I attended Shanghai University of Finance and Economics (上海财经大学) for the first two years in my undergraduate program before transferring to Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where I later graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration (2014). I then attained my Master of Science in Business Analytics from University of Connecticut (2016).

Personal Bio / Thoughts on AI

I love swimming, although my average best time is only around 03’48″/100m so far. My other favorite pasttimes are reading, hiking, and learning new languages.

My reading/topic interests include sci-fi, dystopian fiction, and speculative futures. Orwell’s 1984 remained one of my most memorable dystopian reads as I first encountered the book in my high school years in Beijing, purchased from the street book vendors at RMB10 at that time. Little did I know the book will play a huge part in shaping my lifetime interest in how tech shapes society.

This is also why I am also particularly interested in how AI and technology will revolutionize everything; I believe this is an uncharted territory that humans have never dealt before in past four industrial revolutions. How do you deal with something that can do (some) cognitive tasks so good and effortlessly that it can endanger our core identity as the intelligent ruler on Earth?
